Village of Myrnam, Alberta – January 2, 2025 – The Village of Myrnam is excited to announce the launch of the Myrnam Calling: Why I’m Ready to Make It Home Video Contest! If you’ve ever dreamed of living in a peaceful, welcoming community with endless possibilities, this is your moment!
About the Contest:
- Grand Prize: One lucky winner will walk away with a vacant residential lot in Myrnam, ready for you to build your dream home! Whether you’re looking for a place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life or envision yourself thriving in a close-knit community, this lot could be yours.
- Contest Dates: The contest runs from January 2, 2025, to June 30, 2025. You have plenty of time to share your story!
- Entry Fee: Just a small entry fee of $20 gets you in the running for a chance to win. (And remember, all entry fees are non-refundable, so make sure your video is as awesome as your dream for Myrnam!)
How to Enter:
- Create a Video: We want to hear your story! Create a video answering the question:
“Why I’m Ready to Make It Home in Myrnam.”
Tell us what excites you about living in Myrnam, what makes this village the perfect place for you, and how you envision your life in this amazing community. Let your passion shine through – we want to know why you are the perfect fit for Myrnam! - Video Guidelines:
- Keep it under 3 minutes.
- Accepted formats: MPG, MP4, MOV, or AVI.
- Minimum resolution of 720p to ensure quality.
- Submit your video via the contest website by June 30, 2025.
- Entry Fee: A one-time fee of $20 per entry, which helps cover contest-related costs and confirms your genuine interest in making Myrnam your new home.
Eligibility:
- You must be a Canadian citizen (excluding Quebec) and at least 19 years old.
- Only one entry per person – make it count!
- Employees or immediate family members of the Village of Myrnam are not eligible.
