2026 Capital Budget

At the June 22, 2026 Regular Council meeting, it was approved that the water line from the water plant to 48 Street be revised from a two-inch line to a six-inch line; that the water line project description on 49 Street from 51 Avenue be correct to reflect alignment west to 48 Street; and that the water and sewer line and hydrant capital projects be amalgamated into a single consolidated capital project for budgeting, and funding purposes.

Each year the Village of Myrnam undergoes an extensive Audit by a recognized accounting firm.  The auditors examine all areas of Village operations and reports these to the provincial government. NCube & Landry LLP are the current auditors for the Village of Myrnam.

Municipal Compensation Transparency Disclosure Notice

The Village of Myrnam has reviewed employee compensation, benefits, and severance information for the 2026 calendar year in accordance with the municipal compensation transparency requirements established under the Municipal Government Act.

Under the Public Sector Compensation Transparency Act, the compensation disclosure threshold for the 2026 calendar year is $130,000. Municipalities are required to publish a list of employees whose total compensation, benefits, and severance received during the previous calendar year exceeds this threshold.

The Village of Myrnam confirms that no employees received total compensation, benefits, and severance exceeding the $130,000 disclosure threshold. As a result, there are no employee compensation disclosures required to be published for the 2026 calendar year.
